The new 90,000 square foot, $100 million Space Shuttle Atlantis Exhibit at Kennedy Space Center’s Visitor Center opened June 29th.  40 Shuttle astronauts were on hand for the Opening Ceremonies.  Jon Baker Productions produced the audio for the exhibit’s centerpiece films for Mousetrappe.  Guests begin their shuttle experience by watching the preshow video, then proceed to the show theater which incorporates  a main screen as well as curved video walls or “arches” that pull the Atlantis story around and overhead of the guests using projection mapping technology.  The theater also incorporates the TiMax 2 sound hub for dimensional sound.  The attraction was designed by PGAV,  installed by Electrosonic, and owned and operated by the Delaware North Company.
