It’s the year 2096 and The Granger Sky Theater at the Adler Planetarium is now the launching pad for “Space Express Tours”…the first tour company in deep space to offer a complete tour of our solar system in 30 minutes, thanks to their Space Jump™ technology (not to mention the breathtaking imagery and 8K projection). This adventure is propelled by Jon Baker’s dramatic and inspiring original score.

The new 90,000 square foot, $100 million Space Shuttle Atlantis Exhibit at Kennedy Space Center’s Visitor Center opened June 29th.  40 Shuttle astronauts were on hand for the Opening Ceremonies.  Jon Baker Productions produced the audio for the exhibit’s centerpiece films for Mousetrappe.  Guests begin their shuttle experience by watching the preshow video, then proceed to the show theater which incorporates  a main screen as well as curved video walls or “arches” that pull the Atlantis story around and overhead of the guests using projection mapping technology.  The theater also incorporates the TiMax 2 sound hub for dimensional sound.  The attraction was designed by PGAV,  installed by Electrosonic, and owned and operated by the Delaware North Company.

In 1997, Jon Baker Productions created the “Rock Around the Block” soundtrack for Sesame Place Park and after a successful 14 year run, Sesame Place (owned by Seaworld Parks and Entertainment) once again tapped Jon to create the parade audio for the new “Neighborhood Street Party” parade.  It’s 23 minutes of high energy that is tied together with the parade theme song “Meet Me on Sesame Street” that was penned by Jon and writing partner Donna Elaine Miller.
